It helps to have these ready before you call
- Your relative’s first name, surname and nationality
- Foreigner identification number (yabancı kimlik numarası), if they have one, or passport number
- The date and place they were taken into custody (gözaltı)
- Photos of the decisions given to you or your relative: deportation (deport / sınır dışı) decision, administrative detention (idari gözetim) decision, notification document (tebligat)
